Why pay a flat fee?
| Typical claim company | PaidForDelay | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost on a €400 claim | €100–200 | €29 |
| Two passengers, €800 | €200–400 | €29 |
| Who gets paid | They do, then pass on the rest | You, directly from the airline |
| If the claim fails | Nothing to pay | Your €29 back |
Money back if you don’t get paid
The check is always free. The claim kit costs €29 – and if the airline still doesn’t pay, upload their final answer within 365 days and we refund you. We don’t sell claims we don’t believe in.
Questions
Which flights are covered?
Flights departing from the EU, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland or the UK on any airline, and flights arriving there from elsewhere on a European airline. Delays of 3+ hours at your final destination, cancellations announced less than 14 days before, overbooking and missed connections on one booking.
Why not just claim myself for free?
You can – the law is on your side. What you pay for is a letter that cites the right articles and court rulings for your situation, the right place to send it, and the escalation route when airlines say no at first (they often do). Plus your money back if it doesn’t work.
What if the airline blames the weather?
Airlines must prove extraordinary circumstances actually caused your delay. Technical faults and the airline’s own staff strikes don’t count. Your letter asks them for proof – and if they can’t give it, they must pay.
How long does it take?
About 10 minutes for you. Airlines usually answer within 2–8 weeks. If you need to escalate, it can take a few months.
Is this legal advice?
No. PaidForDelay is a self-help tool: it checks your case against clear rules and writes your letters. You send them yourself and stay in control.
How old can the flight be?
Time limits depend on the country – for example 3 years in Germany and 6 in England and Wales. Claim as soon as you can.
